Roy Kesanen

Roy Kesanen served as a Technical Sergeant during operations in Europe as a head engineer and top turret gunner on a Flying Fortress.

He was reported missing in action in March 6, 1944 over Holland; that June he would become a Prisoner of War. He was confined at Stalag Luft 3 in Germany for one and a half years before he was liberated.

Mr. Kasenen received the: Air Medal with two oak leak clusters.
