Roy H. Davenport

Roy H. Davenport was born in 1915 in Empress, Alberta, Canada, and later moved to Duluth, Minnesota.
He graduated with honors from Denfield High School.
He later attended Duluth Junior College and worked for the Minnesota Highway Department.
He entered the Army on April 2, 1942, and served in the Infantry.
He was killed on Jan. 20, 1945, in the Malmedy Massacre, part of the Battle of the Bulge.
He is buried in the Ardennes American Cemetery in Belgium.
