Roy E. Peterson

Roy E. Peterson of Tower, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on Nov. 17, 1943.

He was a Staff Sergeant and an auto repair shop foreman with the 3540th Ordnance Medium Automotive Maintenance Company, serving in the south Philippines.

Mr. Peterson received the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal, American Campaign Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.

He was discharged on Feb. 12, 1946.
