Ross J. Gentile of Gilbert, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on November 23, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He served as a Private First Class and postal clerk with the Medical Detachment and Station Complement in the European Theater.
Mr. Gentile was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged on February 7, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
