Roland S. Johnson

Roland S. Johnson was inducted into the Army July 20, 1944 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home entry: Buhl, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and truck driver with Company A of the 357th Infantry Regiment in Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Johnson was awarded the: Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and one overseas service bar.

Honorably discharged on January 2, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
