Robert A. Oksa of Mt. Iron, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on July 17, 1942.
He was a Private First Class and a truck driver with Service Battery, 695th Armored Field Artillery, serving in northern France, the Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe.
Mr. Oksa received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with five bronze battle stars, American Campaign Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.
He was discharged on Nov. 8, 1945.
