Robert L. Fulton of Gilbert was inducted into the Army on June 23, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn .
He served as a Private First Class and a rifleman with Company H, 60th Infantry Regiment in Algeria, French Morocco, Sicily; Northern France and the Rhineland.
Mr. Fulton received the Combat Infantryman Badge, Distinguished Unit Citation with oak leaf cluster, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on Sept. 25, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
