“I would first like to thank everyone who had anything to do with planning, producing, and directing the Duluth Honor Flight.
“Words cannot describe how great the whole trip was from beginning to end.
“The guardians were all really wonderful people for giving of their time, talent, and money to take care of us senior veterans. I especially want to thank Nason Bailey, who was my guardian, also his father, mother, brother, sister, and sister-in-law, who were also guardians on the flight (six in one family). The flight was great, both going and returning. The welcome we received at Reagan National and Duluth terminals was very thoughtful. Thank you all.
“I enjoyed the tour of all the military memorials, Arlington Cemetery, the changing of the guard, President Kennedy’s grave—all a very memorable experience.
“I feel very honored to have had the opportunity to make the flight on October 9, 2012.”
