Robert J. Harrington of Biwabik, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on February 3, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He served as a Private First Class in company I of the 159th Infantry Regiment in Northern France and the Aleutian Islands.
Mr. Harrington was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged November 12, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
