Robert H. Ramfjord served during World War II. He served in the U.S. Navy.

At age seventeen, toward the end of World War II, he joined the Navy. After eighteen months of service in Hawaii, he returned to Duluth and received his high school diploma in 1948.

Mr. Ramfjord died at age 81 on January 10, 2008, in Duluth, Minnesota.
