Robert C. Ely

Robert C. Ely of Eveleth, Minn. was inducted into the Army on July 6, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Staff Sergeant, airplane instrument mechanic and instructor with the 2500th Army Air Forces Base Unit at Randolph Field in Texas.

Mr. Ely was awarded the Good Conduct Medal., American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on Jan. 6, 1946 at Randolph Field, Tex.
