Robert August Bodin

Mr. Bodin entered the Navy on August 25, 1944. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

He served as a Machinist Mate Third Class and refrigeration specialist for Task Force 58 aboard USS Renate (AKA 36) in the Pacific Theater. Participated in actions at Saipan, Okinawa and landing of occupation troops at Sasebo, Japan, following the Japanese surrender.

Mr. Bodin was honorably discharged on June 20, 1946, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
