Richard H. Oakman

Richard H. Oakman of Virginia, Minnesota enlisted in the Army on Oct. 4, 1946.

He was a Private First Class and a military policeman and qualified parachutist with the Headquarters MP Platoon of the 11th Airborne Division in the Pacific Theater.

Mr. Oakman received the: World War II Victory Medal and Army of Occupation Service Medal (Japan).

He was discharged on March 17, 1948.
