Richard H. Hendrickson of Eveleth, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on April 25, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He was a Technician 5th Grade and auto mechanic in the 272nd Quartermaster Truck Company, Pacific Theater.

Mr.  Hendrickson was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged January 10, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
