Remi Oscar Vansteenkiste was born on January 13th 1907 in Belgium. By 1930 he had emmigrated to Duluth, Minnesota and on June 20th 1931 he married Mary Madeline [Arteel].
Mr.Vansteenkiste enlisted in the Army on October 16th 1940 and participated in WWII.
After the war he returned home to his wife Mary Madeline and worked for the DM&IR Railway.
Mr.Vansteenkiste reenlisted for the Korean War on April 21st 1953.
