Reino M. Luoma was inducted into the Army on January 29, 1943.

He was a Private First Class and a rigger with Company A in the 175th Engineer Regiment in Sicily and Rome-Arno, Naples-Foggia and North Apennines, Italy.

Mr. Luoma was awarded the: European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on December 21, 1945 at Hot Springs, Ark.
