TUOMI, Reino Jalmer
Reino Jalmer 'Ray' Tuomi was born on November 21st 1912 to Charles Arthur & Mary [Pohjela] Tuomi in Little Swan, Minnesota.
He served in the Army Air Forces during WWII and rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
After the War, he married Helen Laila Elizabeth [Karkela] on July 27th 1946 in Wadena, Minnesota and they started a family. Helen was a 'Rosie the Riveter' in San Francisco during WWII.
He died on August 14th 1992 at the age of 79 in Hibbing, Minnesota. He is buried at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
