Reino J. Peramaki of Aurora, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on Oct. 28, 1942.
He was a Corporal and a truck driver with Battery C, 559th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion, serving in the Rhineland and Central Europe.
Mr. Peramaki received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with two bronze battle stars, American Campaign Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.
He was discharged on Dec. 7, 1945.
