Mr. Anderson inducted into the Army on August 6, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Togo, Minnesota.
He served as a light truck driver with the 3335th Quartermaster (Truck) Company in Tunisia, Sicily, Naples-Foggia, Northern France, Rhineland and Po Valley.
He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Arrowhead, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on September 30, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
