Raymond R. Dropp was inducted into the Army April 17, 1941, Fort Snelling, Minn. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minn.
He served as a Sergeant and gun crewman with Battery A of the 175th Field Artillery Battalion in Algeria and Tunisia, North Africa; and Naples-Foggia and Rome-Arno, Italy.
Mr. Dubbin was awarded the American Defense Service Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with four bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged May 15, 1945, Fort Snelling, Minn.
