Raymond M. Kuha of Virginia, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on August 26, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn.
He was a Private First Class and gun crewman with Battery B, 753rd Field Artillery Battalion in Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe.
Mr. Kuha received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on February 26, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
He also served in the Regular Army during the Korean Conflict, 1948-1952.
He was awarded the: South Korean Unit Commendation to 2nd Infantry Division, Korean Service Medal with five bronze battle stars, and the United Nations Service Medal.
He was honorably discharged in May of 1952 at Camp Carson, Colo.
