Raymond L. Anderson was the son of J. Alfred and Stella Anderson of Cook, MN. He entered the Army on the 22nd of April, 1946. After basic training at Camp Robinson, Arkansas he was assigned to HQS. Co; 1st Corps in Kyoto, Japan. He received the World War II Victory Medal, and the Army of Occupation Medal. He was discharged on the 20th of September, 1947 with the rank of Tec 4.
