Ray H. Waterhouse enlisted in the Army in August of 1943 during WWII.

Mr. Waterhouse attained rank was Medical Technician T/5 and served with Medical Detachment 274th Regiment, 70th Division. He provided medical care for the injured at Bushbach-Kerbach France during the Battle of the Bulge.

Ray has compiled a book of his experiences from December 10, 1944 through March 10, 1945 which gives detailed account of the movement and encounters of the Medics in the 2nd BN/274.

He was discharged in February of 1946.
