Raphael R. Dewing

Raphael R. Dewing enlisted in the Army Air Corps on Oct. 25, 1942.

He served as a Sergeant, mechanic and radio operator with the 807th Army Air Forces Base Unit in England, Central Europe and the continental U.S.

Mr. Dewing was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on Dec. 2, 1945 at Chanute Field, Ill.
