Ralph E. Knutson

Ralph E. Knutson of Baudette, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on August 14, 1942.

He was a Technician 5th Grade and drove light trucks for the Anti-Tank Company, 126th Infantry Regiment in New Guinea, Southern Philippines (Liberation), and Luzon.

Mr. Knutson received the: Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze star, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on November 7, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
