Phillip "Fivel" Myzel served during World War II.

He served in the Duluth National Guard, based out of Duluth, Minnesota.

He was born April 12, 1912 in Vilna, Poland, the son of Louis and Anna (Levine) Myzel. Philip arrived in the United States from Poland on July 4, 1919, at age 7. He graduated from Duluth Central High School.

Mr. Myzel died at age 95 in Duluth, Minnesota, on April, 5, 2008.
