SHARICH, Paul Joseph
Paul Joseph Sharich was born on August 11th 1919 to George & Franjka "Frances" [Devcic] Sharich in Hibbing, Minnesota. He married Mayme Elizabeth [Jacobson] and they started a family.
Mr. Sharich entered the Army on August 8th 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. He served with Company I of the 232nd Infantry Regiment. He rose to the rank of Sergeant.
SGT Sharich was killed in action on January 6th 1945, in France. After the war, his body was returned and buried at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
