Paul E. Jones was inducted into the Army on December 30, 1944.

He was a Private First Class and served as a clerk with the 342nd Infantry Regiment in the Pacific. 

Mr. Jones received the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, Philippine Independence Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on December 7, 1946 at Camp Beale, Calif.
