Oscar W. Hendrickson

Oscar W. Hendrickson of Floodwood, Minnesota, was inducted into the Army on September 4, 1944 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He was a Private First Class and military policeman in Company H of the 291st Infantry Regiment in Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Hendrickson was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, Army of Occupation Medal (Germany), World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged November 12, 1946 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
