Orville R. Dahl entered the Army Air Corps on Mar. 10, 1943.

He served at the rank of corporal with the 403rd Group as a mechanic. He entered the Pacific Theatre combat zone on March 23. He saw duty in New Guinea and Japan.

He separated from the service on Oct. 10, 1945.
