Orville Lee Stapleton

Orville Lee Stapleton enlisted in the Army on November 19, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and mountain warfare instructor with Company I of the 87th Infantry Regiment in the continental U.S.

He was awarded the following: American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

Mr. Stapleton separated on October 21, 1945, at Camp Plauche, Louisiana.
