Oliver W. Mattson

Oliver W. Mattson of Orr, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on Jan. 15, 1942.

He was a Private and a radar crewman with Battery B, 351st Anti-Aircraft Artillery Searchlight Battalion in Tunisia, North Africa and at Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno and Po Valley in Italy.

Me Mattson received the: European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with four bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and 4 overseas service bars.

He was discharged on June 6, 1945.
