Oliver R. Forsberg of Leonidas, Minn., was inducted into the Army on Jan. 31, 1945 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Techician 5th Grade with Battery B of the 388th Anti-Aircraft Automatic Weapons Battalion.

Mr. Forsberg was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Japan) and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on Dec. 5, 1946 at Fort Sheridan, Ill.
