Olaf J. Lehtinen

Olaf J. Lehtinen of Embarrass, Minnesota was inducted in the Army Air Corps on November 20, 1942.

He was a Corporal and a sheet metal worker with the 562nd Bomb Squadron, 388th Bomb Group: Air Offensive Europe, Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Lehtinen received the: Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation with oak leaf cluster, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with six bronze battle stars and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on October 3, 1945 Sioux Falls, S.D.
