Norbert J. Dobbs was inducted into the Army on July 30, 1945 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Technician 3rd Grade, motor inspector and ordnanceman with Headquarters Company of the 3rd Infantry Division in the continental U.S. and Germany.

Mr. Dobbs was awarded the Army of Occupation Service Medal (Germany) and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged in November 1946 at Fort George G. Meade, Md.
