Nick J. Bukal

Mr. Bukal inducted into the Army on March 21, 1941, Fort Snelling, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class with the Medical Corps. He left the U.S. for the European Theater on April 20, 1942. He also served as a first aid man and litter bearer in Tunisia, Sicily, and Italy.

He received the following: Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, and European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars.

He received a disability discharge on February 1, 1945, at Percy Jones General and Convalescent Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan.
