GOBATS, Nick Anthony
Nick Anthony Gobats was inducted into the U.S. Army on July 20th 1944 at Fort Snelling in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He served as a motor inspector with the 3501st Ordnance MAM (Medium Auto Maintenance) Company during WWII. He rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSGT)
SGT Gobats earned the following merits for his military service:
- Good Conduct Medal,
- American Campaign Medal, -and;
- World War II Victory Medal.
He was honorably discharged July 11th 1946 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
