Nicholas J. Vail, Jr.

Nicholas J. Vail, Jr. entered the Navy on November 25, 1942.

Mr. Vail served as an Aviation Chief Machinist's mate with Air Transport Squadrons 2, 5, and 4 in the Pacific Theater.

He was awarded the following: Navy Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on January 18, 1946, at Bremerton, Washington.
