Morris W. Moen served in World War II.
He joined the U.S. Army Air Forces on May 19, 1944. In his two years of service, he served at Reno Army Air Base, Nevada; Hamilton Army Air Field, California; Fairfield-Suisun Army Air Base, California; Sioux Falls Army Air Base, South Dakota; Love Field, Texas; and Lincoln Army Air Field, Nebraska. He was discharged on June 6, 1946.
His rank was Corporal.
Mr. Moen was decorated with the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, the American Campaign Medal, Air Crew Wings, and the Good Conduct Medal.
Mr. Moen was born in 1926, the son of Ed and Gertrude and Moen, in Two Harbors, Minnesota. He graduated from high school in 1944.
