SWOR, Mitchell Mike

Mitchell M. Swor enlisted in the Army on August 13, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.  Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fifth Grade and clerk-typist with the 1772nd Service Command Unit of the Medical Detachment in the Aleutians and Pacific Theater. 

Mr. Swor was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on November 25, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
