Milton Oswald Kangas

Milton Oswald Kangas enlisted in the Naval Reserve on November 14, 1936. Home of entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Chief Radioman (T) aboard the battleship USS Colorado and USS Truant in the Pacific Theater and at continental U.S. shore stations.

Mr. Kangas was awarded: Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, and World War II Victory Medal

He was honorably discharged on October 3, 1945 at Great Lakes, IL.
