Miles T. Grivich was inducted into the Army Air Corps on August 19, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Private First Class with the 54th Air Service Squadron of the 68th Service Group in the China-Burma-India Theater.

He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged January 2, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
