Mike Palumbo

Mike Palumbo entered the Army on June 2, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Kitzville Location, Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and medical technician with the 453rd Medical Dispensary of the 705th Grand Division in the China-Burma-India Theater.

Mr. Palumbo was awarded the following: Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars

He was honorably discharged March 25, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
