Michael Ulicsni was born on Septermber 29th 1910 to Joseph & Leona Ulicsni in Brownville, Pennsylvania. The family moved to Nichols, Minnesota by 1940.
Mr.Ulicsni entered the Army on July 6th 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnessota. Home at entry: Parkville, Minnesota.
He served as a Private First Class and truck driver with the 380th Medical Collections Company in Sicily, Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, North Apennines, and Po Valley, Italy.
PFC Ulicsni was awarded the following:
- Good Conduct Medal,
- European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal w/ five bronze battle stars,
- World War II Victory Medal, -and-
- four overseas service bars.
He was honorably discharged on September 26th 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin. He died on May 17th 1984 at 73 years of age.
