Michael P. Perfetto

Michael P. Perfetto was inducted into the Army on October 6, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class, supply supervisor, and heavy machine gunner with Battery B of the 916th Field Artillery in Rome-Arno, North Apennines, and Po Valley, Italy.

Mr. Perfetto was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on November 11, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
