Michael P. Majerle

Michael P. Majerle was inducted into the Army Air Corps on May 28, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Sergeant and airplane electrical mechanic with the 1337th Army Air Forces Base Unit in Central Burma and India-Burma.

Mr. Majerle was awarded the following: Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars .

He was honorably discharged on December 6, 1945, at Camp McCoy. Wisconsin.
