Michael Kosiak was inducted into the Army Air Corps on June 22, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Ely, Minnesota.

Mr. Kosiak was awarded the: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on February 2, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
