Michael J. Turner

Michael J. Turner was born on May 27th 1900 in Cumberland, Wisconsin. By the 1930 census the Turner family was living in Lakeside neighborhood in Duluth.

Mr. Turner enlisted in the U.S. Army during WWI and re-enlisted 2/10/1941 during WWII. During his service he rose to the rank of Lt. Colonial.

Mr. Turner was honorably discharged on December 30th 1944.

After the War Mr. Turner returned to Duluth to continue raising his family.

Mr. Turner passed at age 82 on February 5th 1983. He is buried at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
