Michael Bicanich

Michael Bicanich entered the Army August 3, 1942, Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Private and auto mechanic with the 913th Ordnance HAM Company in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Awarded: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

Honorably discharged November 26, 1945, Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
