Melville E. Drew was inducted into the Army Air Corps June 10, 1942, Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Staff Sergeant and clerk with the 498th Bomb Group in Saipan, Mariannas Group, Pacific Theater.

Mr. Drew was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged November 7, 1945, Truax Field, Madison, Wis.
